Janice R. (Long) Randall

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — Janice R. Randall passed away January 28, 2014 in Charlottesville, VA. Born August 11, 1927 in Lockport to Linford and Dorothy Long. She married Robert Randall on June 22, 1946. Janice worked for NY Telephone and Niagara County. After retirement they moved to Florida and in     recent years to Charlottesville.

Besides Robert, she is survived by her five children, Michael (Nancy) of Barker, NY, John of Charlottesville, VA, Thomas of Port Charlotte, FL, James (Catherine) of Lockport, and Nancy (Andy) Ortiz of Charlottesville. Grandmother of six: Stephanie (John) Bueme of Amherst, NY, Kristin (Joe) Nugent of Wilson, NY, Rebecca Ortiz of Texas, Laura Ortiz of Charlottesville, VA, Ethan Randall of Lockport, and Caroline Randall of Lockport, and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Sarah Nugent. Also survived by three sisters, Betty Wait, Mary (Eugene) Russel and Jean (Joe) Camerano, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Shirley (Roy) Pacheco, Judy Bauer and one brother, Charles (Shirley) Long.

A memorial Mass will be held in the spring at Our Lady of the Lake in Barker.
