Gabriel P. Riccio

OLCOTT —

Gabriel P. Riccio of Olcott, NY, husband of Nancy Thompson Riccio, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility. He was born in Buffalo, NY on February 11, 1923, the son of the late Gabriel and Sophia Barhead Riccio.
He moved to Olcott in 1929 coming from Buffalo, NY. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving his country from 1941-1945. Gabriel married Nancy Thompson June 14, 1958. He worked for Harrison Radiator as a Senior Sales Engineer, retiring in 1989. Member of St. Brendan on the Lake (St. Charles) Main St. Olcott, NY. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and flying RC planes. Gabriel's family would like to extend their gratitude for the care given to their husband and father at Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility.
Father of Rebecca (Craig) Swanson of East Amherst, NY, Gabriel Paul (Robin) Riccio of Clarksville, TN, Cynthia (Brian) Carter of Greenwood, DE, Christopher (Luci) Riccio of East Amherst, NY and the late Peter Riccio. Grandfather of Amanda, Emma and Kyle Swanson, Anastasia Stumpf, Nickolas (Ashza) Stumpf, Matthew (Airynn) Riccio and Gabriela Riccio. Brother of Elizabeth March of Newfane, Marie Maclam, Slyvia Krueger both of Olcott, NY and the late Amelio Riccio. Also survived by two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on FRIDAY at 11:00 AM at St. Brendan on the Lake (St. Charles Site) Main St. Olcott, NY. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Newfane, NY. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association of WNY 2805 Wehrle Dr. STE 6, Williamsville, NY 14221 would be appreciated by the family.
