Carrie J. Simrell

LOCKPORT —

Carrie J. (Brown) Simrell, age 68, entered into rest suddenly on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Daughter of the late David E. Brown and Helen A. Brown. Predeceased by husband, Ronald J. Simrell.
She is survived by four children, Albert A. Schmidt (Ellen), Debra S. Beutel (Richard), David J. Schmidt (Christine), and Corilyn Schmidt (James). Dear sister of David L. Brown (Linda) and Daniel J. Brown (Margaret). Also survived by dear sister-in-law, Shirley R. Simrell. Grandmother of Matthew and Lindsay Schmidt, Zachary and Jordan Beutel, David, John, and Emily Schmidt, and Brandon and Cameron Craggs.
Carrie loved her flower gardens, her family, and doing whatever she could do to help others. She was a devoted mother and a dear friend to many.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 15th at 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Newfane. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Niagara County Hospice.
