Pam Long

GASPORT —

Pam Long of Gasport NY, formerly residing in Slippery Rock, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 9. Born on April 17, 1959 at Quonset Point, RI, the daughter of Phillis and Paul Rodgers. She is survived by sons, David and Denny; and her five grandchildren.
Pam has been a Registered OR Nurse since 1984. She had worked as a traveling nurse in many hospitals throughout Western NY and Pennsylvania, most recently serving in Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport.
Her interests were many and varied, ranging from decorative cake making, sewing for her grandchildren, gardening, jet skiing and paddle boarding. She was an avid reader, yet enjoyed flying aerobatics and being the Stearman plane ride ground crew at Royalton Airport's Flyin Breakfast events yearly.
A Celebration of Pam's Life will be held on Wednesday evening between 6 and 8 PM at 8735 Dale Road, Gasport NY.
