Grazia DiPasquale

LOCKPORT — Grazia (Giansante) DiPasquale entered into rest on May 18, 2013, at the Niagara Hospice House. Born on Friday, October 5, 1917 in Roccamorice, Abruzzo, Italy, the daughter of Antonio Giansante of Roccamorice and Anna di Nardo of Sao Paolo, Brazil, Grazia emigrated to Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada on November 20, 1955, with her three children to join her husband, Giuseppe. Grazia and Giuseppe then moved to Lockport, NY with their four children on January 30, 1960. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister with a welcoming spirit who loved to sing, to crochet, to knit and to cook, especially her sauce and biscotti. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Grazia was predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe DiPasquale. Beloved mother of Frank (Maria) DiPasquale, Maria (Guido) DiValerio, Mario (Linda) DiPasquale and Lena (Paul)          Candido. Cherished grandmother of Joseph (Donald), Anna (Matthew), Anthony, Rachel, Dana, Natalie and Grace. Predeceased by sisters, Concetta and Maria; and a brother, Donato. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on TUESDAY at the TAYLOR & REYNOLDS Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets, where prayers will be held on THURSDAY at 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at All Saints Parish at 11:00 AM. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
