LOCKPORT — Roberta M. Joseph, of Lockport, NY, formerly of Mount Vernon, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at home. Roberta was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 29, 1926.

Daughter of the late Robert and Gwendolyn Miller; wife of the late Antoine Joseph; dearest mother of Jean-Claude Joseph, Louis E. (Rose) Joseph and the late Antoine Paul Joseph; sister of the late Wendell (late Mary) Miller; grandmother of La Tia, Clarissa, Tiffany and Anthony; great-grandmother of Knyne; also survived by four nieces, Wendy (John) Headen, Wanda (Stanley) Williams, Wrenetta (George) Richards and Gwendolyn (Eldon) Mitchell.

Roberta had a great love for travel and visited many countries until her health would not allow it. She enjoyed crocheting for family and friends.

She will be remembered for her warm hospitality, but most of all her devotion to her    ministry. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 72 years. She helped many people to learn about God and bring their lives in harmony with Bible teachings. She also loved spending time with family and friends, and capturing many precious moments by photograph.

Friends may visit with the family on July 27, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 460 Franklin Ave., Mount Vernon, NY. Memorial service will follow at 2:30 PM.
