Frances H. Crossman

LOCKPORT — Frances H. Crossman went to be with her Heavenly Father, December 6, 2013 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on January 30, 1913, she was the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Henning) Greenthaner. She worked for Roy B. Kelley Elementary School where she was a cook for 34 years, retiring in 1995. Frances was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport, and enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Crossman on August 6, 1983; two sons, Paul Bennett and Robert Bennett; and siblings, Edward Greenthaner and Edna Scheuneman.

Frances is survived by her grandchildren, Shelley (Gary) Waters, Paul Scott Bennett, Angela Devoe, Daniel (Marie) Bennett, Jeff Bennett, Wendy (David) Farnsworth and Cyd (Dennis)       Cehulik; great-grandmother of 15, great-great-grandmother of two and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 11th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12th, at 10 AM. Interment will be in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina. Memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated.
