Theresa B. Kinyon

LOCKPORT — Theresa B. (Balling) Kinyon, April 27, 2013, of Lockport, NY. Beloved wife of Roy E. Kinyon; dearest mother of Gary, Bruce (Roseanne), Carl (Jacqueline) and Kathryn (Michael) Schultz; loving grandmother of Carla (Peter) Frederick, Erik (Genevieve), Jennifer, Daniel (Krystal), Richard (Jackie) Schultz, Carolyn (Jeremy) Brettholz and Stephen Schultz; along with eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Rosaria (Norman) Uschold; and her brother-in-law, Ralph (Mary Margaret) Kinyon.

Theresa, 86, was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Buffalo General Nursing School, worked at Lockport Memorial Hospital and later a volunteer in the LMH gift shop, was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and their Altar & Rosary Society, Girl Scout Troop leader, and enjoyed bowling in several Ladies Leagues at Allie Brandt's. She cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed baking cookies for them. She and Roy were married 64 years.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242           Genesee St., Lockport, NY, on Monday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's the Baptist Church in Lockport on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at the church.
