Fred Doolittle


Fred Doolittle, 74, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Mr. Doolittle was born in Binghamton, NY, son of the late Raymond LuVern and Helen Esther Newing Doolittle.
He retired as a manager for NYSEG. Mr. Doolittle was a member of Lockport Lions Club in Lockport, NY. He served as President of the Niagara County Mental Health Board, a Member of The Beeman Clinic Advisory Board, President of the NY State Mental Health Association, and was a Board Member of the Economic Committee for the Gloucester Township in Gloucester, NJ. He took tremendous joy in serving others.
Surviving are his wife, Gini Doolittle of Myrtle Beach, SC; one son, Christopher Michael Doolittle and wife, Kelly Lynn, of North East, MD; three daughters, Nicole Pagnard of Bloomington, IL, Kathleen Marie Fuierer  and husband, Michael, of Brockport, NY and Karen Merlene Doolittle of Binghamton, NY; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Sidney Newing Doolittle and wife, Barbara, of Evanston, IL and Raymond LuVern Doolittle and wife, Barbara of Chenango Bridge, NY.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
