Lawrence "Larry" Frank Peet

WILSON —

Lawrence "Larry" Frank Peet of Wilson went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2013. Born on January 4, 1948 in Niagara Falls, the son of the late Loran M. and Dorothy W. (Howe) Peet.
As a boy, Larry worked for various farms in the Wilson area and delivered the Union Sun and Journal. A 1966 Graduate of Wilson High School he entered the United States Army in 1968 and was Honorably Discharged in 1970. Larry worked at Harrison's until his retirement and also worked at the Wilson Central Schools. An Exempt Member of the Wilson Fire Company #1. He was also a member of Wilson American Legion Martin F. Jennings Post and lifelong member of the Wilson First Baptist Church. Besides spending time with family and friends, Larry liked to travel, hunt, fish and spend time at the family camp. He loved the Bills and Yankees loved to walk was a History Buff and loved historical places.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Noreen (Potts) Peet; sons, Ronald (Terri) Peet of Auburndale, FL, David (Jessica) Peet of Lakeland, FL; four grandchildren, Alicia, Austin, Shelby and Sydney; a brother, Donald Peet of Lockport; a sister, Keitha Kress of Wilson. Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 3-7 PM in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice.
