Robert I. Mayne

LOCKPORT — Bob Mayne died on December 7, 2013, at the age of 93. He was born in Gasport, NY, August 10, 1920. He lived in the Lockport area for many years, then relocated to Dallas, TX, returning to Lockport in 2012. Bob was predeceased by his wives, Harriet Keough of Gasport and Marcia Gordon Anderson of Dallas.

Mr. Mayne was a World War II veteran, serving with the 11th Airborne unit of the US Army. He served in Guam, the Philippines and Japan.

He is survived by Pamela (Roberts) Elsess, Jill (Guy) Falsetti, Paul (Joan) Mayne and Brion (Janet) Mayne. Also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He has two remaining sisters, Dorothy Hedley and Norma Jean (Robert) Dickerson. Predeceased by sister, Mildred Cook and grandson, Brett Elsess.
