RALEIGH, NC —
Mary "Pat" Budnack of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Lockport, NY, wife of the late John D. Budnack, Sr. entered into rest on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Raleigh, NC. She was born in Newfane, NY on May 19, 1928, daughter of the late Donald and Margaret Connelly Hopkins. Mary Pat was a devoted mother and wife. After her children were grown, she went to work at Newfane Health Care Facility as cook for 17 years.
Mother of John D., Jr. of Colorado, David (Deborah) of Lockport, Sharon (Schilling), Carol (Timothy) Noonan and James, all of Raleigh, NC, Michael (Kim) and Steve (Sandy) of Colorado and Robert of Sarasota, FL. Sister of Donald Hopkins, James Hopkins and Dorothy Walters. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. Mary Pat had a contagious sense of humor, unconditional love and endless energy always putting her family first. She so enjoyed helping others and being with her family.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY on MONDAY from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on TUESDAY at 11:00 AM in St. Brendan on the Lake, (St. Bridget's) Ewings Road, Newfane, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Newfane, NY.
