Judith Smith

BARKER — Judith Smith, of Barker, NY, wife of the late Larry E. Smith, entered into rest suddenly,       Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at home. Her husband Larry passed away October 14, 2013.

She was born in Lockport, NY March 11, 1948, the daughter of the late Oswald and Yolanda Molisani Ward.

Judith was an Insurance Agent and worked for Ulrich Insurance Company in Lockport for several years. She had lived in Barker all her life. Member of Our Lady of the Lake (St. Patrick's R.C. Church) Barker, NY, where she was Choir Director and sang in the choir for many years. Judy also was in card clubs.

Mother of Michael L. Smith, Chad A. (Stephanie) Smith, all of Appleton, NY, Brian W. (Amanda) Smith of East Amherst, NY, and Justin D. (Christina) Smith of Lockport, NY. Grandmother of Jordyn, Ian, Owen and Blake Smith. Sister of William (Linda) Ward of Appleton, Eric (Linda) Ward of Lockport, and the late Barbara Kenney. Sister-in-law of Jack (Chris) Kenney of     Albion, Donald (Marilyn) Smith of Lake Bluff, IL, and the late Leslie Smith. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY, FRIDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated SATURDAY at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Lake (St. Patrick's R.C. Church), Quaker Road, Barker, NY.
