He also had three great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Juliana, and Jaida Bragg, and was predeceased by two infant grandchildren, Stephen Joseph Kern and John William Villella. He was predeceased by his parents, Cesidio and Francesca DiMatteo; and a sister, Anna Maria (Donato) DiFabbio of Roccomorice, Italy. He is survived by three brothers, Donatoantonio (Maria) DiMatteo, of Mississauga, Canada, Rocco (Concetta) DiMatteo of Toronto, Canada, and Giuseppe (Angiolina) DiMatteo of Roccomorice, Italy; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where prayers will be offered on Monday, November 11th at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial  to be celebrated at 10 AM at All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport.
