Joseph "Chip" Webb

LOCKPORT — Joseph "Chip" Webb, of Newfane, husband of Tracey Meyer Webb, went home to be with Christ on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at the Niagara Hospice House.

Chip was born in Lockport, NY on December 26, 1950, son of the late Elwin and Josephine Stevens Webb.

Chip worked for the City of Lockport for 27 years. Chip loved his wife madly. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid reader and a self-made historian.

Father of Heather (Jamie) Shepherd of Ransomville, NY, Holly (Andrew) Kowalyk of Youngstown, NY, Kelly Jo (Paul) Behrens of Wake Forest, NC, Tim Meyer of Newfane, NY, John Meyer of Newfane, NY, and Zach Webb of Newfane, NY. Brother of Stephanie (John) Heser of Burt, NY. Grandfather of Brayden and Dylan Behrens, Courtney Meyer, Claire Kowalyk and Joshua Shepherd. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108, on TUESDAY 4-8 PM. Funeral service will be on WEDNESDAY at  11 AM in Ridgewood Bible Church,  7073 Ridge Rd., Lockport, NY 14094. Burial will be held in Cold Springs Cemetery.
