David James Lull, age 74, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 17, 2013, with his beloved wife at his side. Born September 22, 1938 in Buffalo, he was a son of the late Raymond and Edith C. (Jones) Lull.
He worked on the family farm and was a 1956 graduate of Wilson High School. David served our country in the National Guard and the Army Reserves. He met Mary Peterson in 1962, and they were married on August 21, 1965 in Jamestown, NY. David worked at Harrison's until his retirement in 1998. He was a very active volunteer for the church and Habitat for Humanity. He loved to travel, spending time with family, and going on walks to the evergreens and the lake. An avid watcher of the EWTN Catholic Network, he loved the Catholic religion and his grandchildren.
Surviving him besides his wife, Mary (Peterson) Lull, are a daughter, Lisa (Randy) Myers of Wilson; son, Paul Lull of Lake Alfred, FL; grandchildren, Brett Lull, Laura Myers, Tyler Myers and Zakary Myers; also a sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Neil) Pierson of Youngsville, PA; and several cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Rd., Irondale, AL.
