LOCKPORT —

James C. Vincent of Lockport, husband Loretta Holt Campbell Vincent and the late Dellis Costello Vincent, entered into rest on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Absolut at Gasport. Jim was born on October 12, 1924 in Newfane, NY, son of the late Clifton and Onalee Brown Vincent.
Jim served in the US Air Force during WWII as a Tail gunner and a Staff Sergeant in the Pacific Theater. Jim owned and operated Vincent Service Station in Lockport, NY for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Lockport VFW.
Father of Douglas J. (Linda) Vincent, Lucinda (Raymond) Reynolds, Kevin J. (Joyce) Vincent, all of Lockport, NY, Mark R. (Debra) Vincent of Gasport, NY and Michael (Ellen) Vincent of Lockport, NY. Brother of Leland  Vincent of Rochester, NY, Fayetta (Richard) Liddell of Newfane, NY, Kiern (Linda) Vincent of Lockport, NY and the late Charles Vincent and Mavis Winkley. Brother-in-law of Elaine Vincent of Lockport, NY. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108 on THURSDAY from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on FRIDAY at 10:00 AM at Warrens Corners United Methodist Church 5293 Stone Road, Lockport, NY. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Warrens Corners United Methodist Church, 5293 Stone Road, Lockport, NY would be appreciated by the family.
