LOCKPORT —

Steven James Harper passed away suddenly on August 27, 2013 in Florida. He was born on January 6, 1962, the son of James and Lorene Harper. Steve served with the US Army in Korea in 1980. Steven and his fiancee, Clare Larock, enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales together. He loved music and played the drums for many years, primarily with his band, White Haven.
In addition to his parents and fiancee, he is survived by his grandmother, Stella Moore of Lockport; his children, Cynthia (Phillip) Fox, Amanda (Bryan) Gardner, Megan (Anthony) Fuller, Joshua Harper and Zachary Harper, all of Florida and Steven John Harper of Hawaii. Also survived by grandchildren, Daniel Brown, Micah Wolford and Karlee Fuller; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Lockport. He was predeceased by his brother, Alan M. Harper.
A private memorial service was held in Lakeland, FL for the immediate family.
