Kenneth Weatherly

LOCKPORT —

Kenneth Weatherly died on June 28, 2013 surrounded by family. He was born in Oneonta, NY on September 12, 1927 to the late Hiram and Frances (Hathaway) Weatherly.
Kenneth served in the Army during WWII. He moved to Western New York in the late 1950's. Kenneth worked in the Lockport School System for over 30 years. In retirement, he drove a bus for Happy Times Day Care, delivered Meals on Wheels, and was active with Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Plymouth Congregational Church and was a lifetime P.T.A. member of Washington Hunt Elementary School. Kenneth enjoyed sports and was active in softball, bowling and horseshoes. He especially loved his garden and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, June; two sons, Steve (Vickie) Judd of Oneonta and Daryll Weatherly of Binghamton; three daughters, Charlene Weatherly of Lockport, Charyll Sposito of Lockport, and Carol (Ron) Tall of Gasport. Also surviving him are grandchildren, Angela Sposito, A.J. Roger, Sam Judd, Ronnie Tall, Haley Tall; and one great-grandchild, Alayna Sposito.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements made by Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel. The family would appreciate donations in Kenneth's name to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
