City of Lockport
• SUSPENDED LICENSE: Kenneth Wrobel, 27, 7870 Gill Road, Gasport, was charged Monday with having a suspended registration and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. The report said police spotted a vehicle heading southbound on South Transit Street, and a vehicle check revealed the registration was suspended. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail. Wrobel is due April 30 in Lockport City Court.
• ALCOHOL: Joseph Lequeux, 18, 122 Cottage St., and Joshua Cooney, 20, 111 Elmwood Ave., were both charged with underage possession of alcohol. The report said police saw Lequeux and stopped him when he attempted to enter a house he did not belong in. He was found to be carrying a bottle of alcohol, the report said. While interviewing Lequeux, police said Cooney walked by with a bottle of alcohol. Both young men were found to be underage, and both are due Tuesday in Lockport City Court.

• BURGLARY: A Holly Drive man reported to police Monday that he discovered items were missing from his home after he returned from shopping. He said while he and his wife were watching TV in bed, they noticed his watch missing from the top of the dresser next to the bed, and noticed the screen ripped open on the side door of the trailer. Along with the $50 watch, the man said his $300 handgun and speed loaders were missing from the drawer. The wife stated when her husband left to go shopping, she sat on the porch with the dog and never heard any noise coming from the back of the trailer. There were bicycle tracks leading to and from the side door of the trailer, going in a southeast direction.
Lewiston
• POSSESSION: Van Herkimer, 35, 614 35th St., Niagara Falls, was charged Tuesday with criminal possession of a weapon. Police saw a red vehicle parked with no lights on. The report said as police approached the vehicle, two people were visible laying unclothed and sleeping in the back-seat area. Police woke both people and advised them to get dressed. Both parties appeared intoxicated and were asked to exit the vehicle, and were given an alcosensor to determine if they could drive the vehicle. Police said both tested over the legal limit. With verbal consent to search the suspect’s vehicle, police said they located a pair of metal knuckles in the center console of the vehicle. The suspect advised that the metal knuckles were his. Police held the suspect in lieu of $250 bail. The metal knuckles, valued at $10, were secured in the property room. The suspect is due Tuesday at the Town of Lewiston Court.
