BLOTTER: Police reports published April 26

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal

City of Lockport

• IMPERSONATION: Kevin S. DiPirro, 37, 6035 S. Transit St., Lot 275, was charged Thursday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal impersonation. Officers responded to John Street for a report of a suspicious car possibly engaged in drug activity and found DiPirro driving a car that matched the vehicle description. DiPirro allegedly told police he was the registered owner of the car and gave a false name. Officers found the car was registered to a person with that name, but that person was female and is DiPirro’s girlfriend, the report said. DiPirro allegedly told police he lied because his driver’s license is suspended, the report said.

• ENDANGERMENT: Jerad S. Forsyth, 22, 315 Beattie Ave., Apt. 3, was charged Thursday evening with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. A Trowbridge Street man told police Tuesday that his daughter, a juvenile, had spent two nights at Forsyth’s house April 17 and 18. The man said Forsyth allegedly acted inappropriately, walking around without clothes on and laying down and “rubbing” his daughter and another girl. He reportedly turned over copies of his daughter’s diary pages to police. After an investigation, Forsyth was arrested Thursday. He was released on his own recognizance and is due Monday in Lockport City Court.

• HARASSMENT: Aaron C. Clark, 39, 129 Pine St., Apt. 2, was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana. Clark allegedly fought with a Lincolnshire Drive man at a home on Lincoln Avenue. The man said Clark struck him in the side of the face, causing a small cut, scratches and bleeding, the report said. During Clark’s arrest, officers reportedly found him in possession of a small baggie containing marijuana.

Town of Lockport

• LARCENY: Todd A. Biro, 41, 3119 Portland St., Niagara Falls, was charged Thursday morning with petit larceny. An employee at Tops on South Transit Road told deputies he stopped Biro and another man as they tried to leave the store without paying for several items. Biro and the other man allegedly each tried to take several Oil of Olay products, with a total value of $403.22. The employee said he allowed the other man to leave the store to get money to pay for the items, but the man did not return. Deputies were called, and Biro was taken into custody. He was held in lieu of $500 bail and is due Tuesday in Lockport Town Court.

• FRAUD: A Sunset Drive woman reported Wednesday that she received a FedEx package containing a letter and a check. The letter instructed her to deposit the check and wire the money to an address in South Africa. Deputies advised her the check was a scam.

Newfane

• LARCENY: A South Niagara Street Lockport man reported Thursday that overnight, someone stole an eight-foot Fisher snowplow from in front of a storage facility he owns on Ewings Road. The plow is worth $500.

Cambria

• LARCENY: An Upper Mountain Road man reported Thursday that overnight, someone stole a 2004 Polaris 4-wheeler from his driveway. The vehicle is worth $11,000.
