City of Lockport
• HARASSMENT: Heather J. Doxey, 29, 20 John St., was charged Monday with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. During a confrontation April 19 on West Avenue, Doxey allegedly hit a woman in the face with a set of keys, leaving several small cuts on the woman's forehead.
• DRUGS: Antoine A. Ewing, 35, 114 West Ave., Apt. 1, was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers responded to South Street for a report of several suspicious people. As they were interviewing people in the crowd, Ewing allegedly took a large piece of marijuana out of his pocket and tried to swallow it. Officers were able to secure Ewing, and he reportedly spit out the marijuana. He was held in lieu of $50 bail.
• FALSE REPORT: Jennifer N. Sargent, 24, 337 West Ave., was charged Monday with making a false statement. Sargent allegedly told officers she saw a Michigan Street man keying her car April 18. Another man reportedly confessed to causing the damage. Sargent is due today in Lockport City Court.
• DRUGS: Kevin C. Ross, 24, 138 Elm St., Apt. 3, was charged Monday night with unlawful possession of marijuana and an equipment violation after a traffic stop on Lewis Street. Officers noted a strong smell of marijuana inside the car, the report said. A quantity of marijuana was reportedly found inside the car. Ross was released on his own recognizance and is due June 3 in Lockport City Court.

• INJURED ANIMAL: A Lake Avenue woman reported Monday her cat came inside dragging its hind legs. The woman took the cat to a vet, who determined the cat had been shot with a .22-caliber gun. The woman said she was going to have it put down.
• HARASSMENT: Keith Madden, 16, 6395 Old Niagara Road, was charged Monday with second-degree harassment. A teacher at Henrietta G. Lewis School told deputies she was following Madden through the halls to make sure he went to his next class. She followed him into the social worker’s office, where he allegedly hid in a corner. The teacher tried to leave, but the exit was blocked by another student, who turned out the lights. Madden allegedly said, “Let’s get her,” and touched the teacher’s shoulder. The woman yelled and a school counselor came to her aid. Madden was released on his own recognizance.

• HARASSMENT: An Orchard Street woman reported Monday she has received threatening phone calls from a acquaintance of her husband, who is incarcerated. The woman said her husband owes the man $200, and the man has threatened to burn her house down if he doesn’t get the money. Deputies spoke to the man, who admitted calling the woman but denied making threats.
• LARCENY: An Ide Road woman reported Monday that someone stole about $1,000 worth of copper wiring from outside a barn on her property.
Olcott
• HARASSMENT: Jane C. Price, 58, 5787 W. Main St., upper, was charged Monday afternoon with second-degree harassment. A neighbor told deputies Price became upset with her and accused her of killing her cat. Price allegedly threatened to “throw her over her car and throw cat (feces) in her hair,” the report said. Price was held in lieu of $100 bail.
