BLOTTER: Police reports published May 9

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal

City of Lockport

• DISORDERLY: Michael A. Hallows, 45, 2351 Hess Road, Appleton, was charged Wednesday afternoon with disorderly conduct after a traffic stop on East Avenue. Hallows allegedly became upset and yelled profanities as officers were issuing him a ticket and towing his car. He is being held in lieu of $100 bail and is due Monday in Lockport City Court.

• DRUGS: Andrew J. Faling, 16, 289 Church St., Apt. 2, was charged Wednesday evening with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers responded to Clinton and North Adam streets for a report of three teens possibly smoking marijuana. Officers located Faling and two other teens, and the smell of marijuana was in the air, the report said. The three teens were reportedly acting nervous and standing in a circle. On the ground between them, officers reportedly found a small plastic bag containing marijuana. Faling was released on his own recognizance. The other teens, who are juveniles, were released to their parents. Faling is due Tuesday in Lockport City Court.

• LARCENY: Michael J. Smith, 16, 247 Price St., was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. Smith allegedly tried to steal a mountain bike from outside a Grant Street home. The residents reportedly saw Smith and stopped him, keeping him on the scene until police arrived. Smith is being held in lieu of $200 bail.

• DISORDERLY: Hilary E. Falls, 22, 98 Washington St., Apt. 2, was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct. Officers responded to Lockport Memorial Hospital for a report that Falls was sitting in the emergency room and refused to leave. When officers told Falls she had to leave, she allegedly used profanity. She was released on an appearance ticket.

• HARASSMENT: Christopher M. Howard, 20, 6367 Robinson Road, Apt. 11, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Howard allegedly fought with a Waterman Street woman at her home. Another man told police he tried to pull Howard off the woman, and Howard allegedly smacked the man in the face. The man’s glasses were knocked to the ground and broken, the report said.
