• DRUGS: Two Plaza Drive women told police on Friday that a Plaza Drive man has fights often with his girlfriend that last all night. According to the police report, the girlfriend never calls police and when the police does come, she refuses to press charges. The report said another fight took place Thursday, where one of the Plaza Drive women heard the man say he would “kill the whore downstairs” (in reference to the other Plaza Drive woman). The report said the women heard him yelling about an eviction notice he had just received, and mentioned something about possessing a handgun. Police offered to speak to the man, but the Plaza Drive women said it might make things worse. The report said no further action was taken, but the women were told to call police if they felt the need.
• SUSPENDED: Joanne Walck, 43, 57 John Granville Drive, North Tonawanda, was charged Friday with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Police stopped the suspect on Shawnee Road just north of Niagara Falls, and interviewed the driver. The police report said the driver produced a New York state driver’s license identifying her as the registered owner. A registration check showed the registered owner to be suspended. Walck is scheduled to appear June 6 in Town of Wheatfield Court. The police report said Walck’s license was suspended on Feb. 17 for failure to pay fine from North Tonawanda.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: An Aiken Road man told police Saturday he was in the garage in his backyard when he heard a loud bang against the wall. According to the police report, he ran outside and saw a man holding a beer bottle in his hand, and was winding up, as if to throw it against his wall. The Aiken Road man said he saw another similar bottle, on the ground near his wall. The side of the wall was wet and dented. The Aiken Road man chased him and the report said when he caught up to the man who threw the bottle, then they collided and bumped heads. The victim told police both fell to the ground, and when they got up, he could see subjects face was bleeding. The report said the man called police saying he was assaulted. The man said, “I was at party in someone’s back yard that I work with, walked over to a garage near by with another buddy to piss, and then got punched in the face for no reason man, I also lost my glasses, after I was blasted.” The report said police found glasses at exact spot the victim showed where he tackled the man, and two empty beer bottles on ground at wall of garage. The wall was found to be wet and dented. The Aiken Road man didn’t wish to place any charges against the man. Police concluded injuries sustained by the man were related to his criminal acts and the victim was protecting his property.
North Tonawanda
• CHARGED: Jennifer L. Courtney, 25, 49 Ward Road, was charged at 4:13 a.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving left of pavement markings and refusing to take a breath test. Her blood alcohol content was 0.22 percent, according to the police report. She is being held in lieu of $250 bail.
City of Tonawanda
• CHARGED: Timothy M. Nelson, 19, 457 Morgan St., was charged at 9:45 p.m. Friday with criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use. Officers received a call of a large fight in a McDonald’s parking lot. A man with no shirt, later identified as Nelson, was spotted putting a pipe into a car trunk. Nelson told police it was not a pipe but a stick he had because the men he was fighting with had a golf club, according to the police report. Nelson is being held in lieu of $250.
