City of Lockport
• HARASSMENT: Charles D. McMillan Jr., 38, 190 Erie St., Apt. 2, was charged Thursday night with second-degree harassment and third-degree menacing. McMillan’s girlfriend told police he grabbed her arms while she was trying to go inside the apartment. She was able to get inside, and a short while later, she heard McMillan enter the apartment and walk up the stairs. When she tried to close the door on him, McMillan allegedly pushed her back. The woman said she tried to run to the bathroom to call for help, and McMillan allegedly grabbed the phone away from her and grabbed her neck to make her look at him. McMillan turned himself in at the Lockport Police Department and was held without bail. He is due Monday in Lockport City Court.

• BURGLARY: An employee of Russell Fruit Service on Lockport-Olcott Road reported Friday that overnight, someone broke into the business by smashing through a bathroom window. A Dell desktop computer worth about $1,500 was reported stolen. The damage to the building was estimated at $100.

• HARASSMENT: Joseph R. Kyle, 53, 70 Highland Drive, Penfield, was charged Thursday night with second-degree harassment. A Rochester man told deputies he was walking on a dock at the Olcott Marina when Kyle approached him and began to yell at him to stay off the dock. Kyle allegedly pushed the man in the chest and hit the man in the face. The man was not injured. Another man told deputies Kyle had been intoxicated and had threatened other people who approached him. Kyle was held in lieu of $100 bail.

• DOG BITE: An East Avenue woman reported Thursday that her 11-year-old daughter was riding her bike in front of a neighbor’s house when the neighbor’s dog ran from the house and bit her on the left leg. The girl was treated for two puncture wounds at Inter-Community Memorial Hospital. The dog owner said the dog had its rabies shots, though he could not provide documentation, the report said.

• THEFT: Police are looking for a suspect in a theft from a gas station in the 700 block of Main Street. An employee told officers that a driver pumped $20 worth of gas into his car and then drove away without paying at 1:10 p.m. Friday.
