At 4:05 a.m. Saturday, the patrol responded to Ontario Street in reference to a fight and observed Frasier and Hopper on the ground yelling and punching each other. Hopper was bleeding from the head. The patrol ordered Hopper and Frasier to stop fighting, but they continued to fight, reports said. The patrol sprayed both parties and handcuffed the men. Rescue responded due to the laceration on Hopper’s head. It appeared Hopper had trouble breathing and was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport for treatment.

There was an odor of alcoholic beverage on Grooms’ breath and she failed field sobriety tests, reports said. The driver was uncooperative and belligerent towards patrol and placed under arrest, according to police. She was uncooperative during the booking process and placed in a cell, reports said.

According to the report, the patrol observed a glass pipe that is commonly used to smoke marijuana in plain view on the center console. The patrol recovered three glass pipes commonly used to smoke marijuana under the front passenger seat, reports said. Doyle had a glass pipe and a bag of suspected marijuana in her purse, according to police. There were two open containers of alcohol in the vehicle, reports said. Doyle and Smith are due to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on July 14.
n MARIJUANA: Kimberly Ann Kerr, 22, 7064 Ridge Road, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. According to the report, Kerr told patrol that the marijuana and glass pipe were hers.
