City of Lockport
n DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Brett W. Frasier, 33, 120 Ontario St., and Gary L. Hopper, 23, 120 Ontario St., were charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree obstruction of government administration. At 4:05 a.m. Saturday, the patrol responded to Ontario Street in reference to a fight and observed Frasier and Hopper on the ground yelling and punching each other. Hopper was bleeding from the head. The patrol ordered Hopper and Frasier to stop fighting, but they continued to fight, reports said. The patrol sprayed both parties and handcuffed the men. Rescue responded due to the laceration on Hopper’s head. It appeared Hopper had trouble breathing and was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport for treatment.
n DWI: Felicia M. Grooms, 28, 165 Allen St. was charged with driving while intoxicated, passing a red traffic signal and an equipment violation. The patrol observed a Honda go through a red light at 2:25 a.m. on South Transit Street, reports said. There was an odor of alcoholic beverage on Grooms’ breath and she failed field sobriety tests, reports said. The driver was uncooperative and belligerent towards patrol and placed under arrest, according to police. She was uncooperative during the booking process and placed in a cell, reports said.
Town of Lockport
n CHARGED: Christina M. Doyle, 21, 47 Chaplin Drive, Tonawanda; and Erin M. Smith, 21, 352 Wabash Ave. Kenmore, were charged with drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:25 a.m. Saturday, the patrol observed a vehicle northbound on South Transit Road with no front license plate. According to the report, the patrol observed a glass pipe that is commonly used to smoke marijuana in plain view on the center console. The patrol recovered three glass pipes commonly used to smoke marijuana under the front passenger seat, reports said. Doyle had a glass pipe and a bag of suspected marijuana in her purse, according to police. There were two open containers of alcohol in the vehicle, reports said. Doyle and Smith are due to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on July 14.
n MARIJUANA: Kimberly Ann Kerr, 22, 7064 Ridge Road, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:25 a.m. Saturday, the patrol was given information regarding an older model red Oldsmobile with the two occupants possibly using drugs. Patrol observed the car traveling northbound on Transit Road. The patrol found a glass pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana along with a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance, reports said. According to the report, Kerr told patrol that the marijuana and glass pipe were hers.
North Tonawanda
n DWI: A North Tonawanda woman was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday after she struck two pedestrians at Oliver and Wheatfield streets, then drove away.
Michele L. Cashion, 36, 62 14th Ave., was arrested at her home for DWI, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and failure to yield. Police reports indicate Cashion struck two individuals. Robert J. Reynolds, 40, 144 N. Transit St., Lockport, and Joseph Shaw, 16, 5936 Bear Ridge Road, Pendleton, were both treated for “minor injuries” according to police.
Cashion refused a breath test and was being held without bail.
