City of Lockport
n CHARGED: Two Lockport teens were charged after an incident Friday on Washburn Street. Police were called to an address for the report of two males sleeping on a porch. Dennis M. Schultz Jr., 16, 95 Adams St., Apt. 1, was charged with trespass, criminal impersonation, criminal mischief, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree assault. Benjamin D. Stump, 18, 193 Washburn St., Apt. 2, was charged with obstruction of government administration and resisting arrest. Officers found marijuana and pills in Schultz’s pocket, according to the report. Schultz jumped over the railing and ran. Two officers gave chase and one policeman fell. Schultz lost his wallet with identification in the chase. Schultz was found later in the bathroom of the residence.
n CHARGED: Ryan J. Eick, 24, 9421 Chestnut Ridge, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, alcoholic beverage and false personation. Eick was stopped for a traffic violation. According to the report, Eick identified himself as someone else. There was alcohol in the passenger seat of the vehicle. The patrol observed a plastic bag with an off-white substance that field tested for cocaine.
Ransomville
n GRAND LARCENY: Ki-Po Motors on Youngstown-Lockport Road reported four tires and wheels were taken off a 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche sometime Saturday morning. The estimated value of the four tires and rims is $1,500.
Pendleton
n CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: An Oakwood Drive resident reported that between 3 and 6 a.m., someone pulled his mailbox post from the ground and discarded it in his neighbor’s pool on Irish Road. The victim said told police this is the third time this has happened in one week.
Town of Lockport
n CHARGED: Jeffrey D. Pirk, 29, 6193 Raymond Road, was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. According to the report, the patrol attempted to initiate a traffic stop in front of 6193 Raymond Road for speeding. Pirk got out of the vehicle and started walking toward the patrol and he was commanded to return to his vehicle. Pirk did not comply and began yelling at patrol. He entered his vehicle and drove toward the residence. He was released on $500 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
Newfane
n PETIT LARCENY: The manager at NAPA Auto Parts reported that between 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday an unknown person removed 55 vehicle batteries that were stacked outside the rear entrance to the store on South Main Street. The total value is $538.
