Lockport Union-Sun & Journal
City of Lockport
n DRUGS: Maurice D. Craig, 18, 1635 South Ave., Apt. 2, Niagara Falls, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and having tinted windows Monday. Ivette Trinidad, 31, 128 Chenango Drive, Buffalo, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and an open container violation. Officers responded to a Green Street home on a report of possible drug activity and reportedly saw Trinidad sitting in the passenger seat of a car, waiting for Craig, who was on the front porch. Officers circled the block, saw the car drive away and executed a traffic stop. Trinidad allegedly held an open beer bottle and Craig reportedly said he did not have a license. Officers searched Craig and said they found two knives in his pants, along with an electronic scale coated with white residue. Officers searched the car and reportedly found a marijuana cigarette in the center console. Trinidad allegedly had a knife and a quantity of marijuana in her purse. The scale was sent to the county lab for testing. Craig was held in lieu of $100 bail. Trinidad was released on an appearance ticket.
n ASSAULT: Nicole L. Rosselli, 20, 42 Harvey Ave., upper, was charged with third-degree assault Tuesday. Rosselli allegedly punched a woman in the face July 15 at a Pine Street home. The woman, who was seven months pregnant, was treated at the hospital for a possible broken bone in her face. Rosselli was arrested Tuesday on Gooding Street. She was held in lieu of $100 bail.
n LARCENY: James L. Freck, 45, 2715 Lower Mountain Road, Ransomville, was charged with third-degree grand larceny Wednesday. Freck allegedly took two large, stainless steel mixer covers from a warehouse at Rubberform on Michigan Street and brought them to a scrap yard on Junction Road. The cost for Rubberform to replace the covers is $7,364, the report said. Freck turned himself in at police headquarters.
Town of Lockport

Wheatfield
n BURGLARY: An Arnold Drive man reported Tuesday that overnight, someone stole a set of Calloway golf clubs and a golf bag, from his garage. The items worth are about $1,000. The man said both garage doors had been locked, and he told deputies he’d received a call about 12:31 a.m. from an unknown man who said, “I’m the Pillsbury Doughboy, and I’m your worst nightmare.” The garage was burglarized previously on July 7. The man said he’s also had eggs thrown at his house.
Lewiston
n DWI: Zechariah M. Vandermeer, 27, 205 N. Water St., was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motorcycle with improper plates and operating a motorcycle without registered plates Sunday. Deputies responded to the area of Swann Road at 7:22 p.m. to assist Lewiston police with a report of a motorcyclist driving recklessly. Deputies reportedly saw Vandermeer on a motorcycle pulling into a driveway on Ridge Road. Vandermeer told deputies that he’d just purchased the motorcycle that day and it was not registered; he allegedly placed an ATV plate on the motorcycle. Vandermeer registered positive for alcohol on a field screening breath test and later registered a 0.22 percent blood alcohol content on a breath test, the sheriff’s report said. Vandermeer was held in lieu of $250 bail.
