LOCKPORT City of Lockport

n CHARGED: Ryan R. Person, 19, 631 Locust St., was charged with petit larceny. An Erie Street woman reported Person took $150 from her purse and fled out the door Tuesday. He was arrested Friday. The victim requested an order of protection.

Town of Niagara

n CHARGED: Ryan Taylor Chew, 28, 6000 Edgewood Drive, Niagara Falls, was charged with driving while intoxicated and stopping on highway violation. At 4:21 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to Porter Road and the I-190 for a vehicle stopped in the roadway. According to the report, Chew was sleeping behind the wheel. The vehicle was still in drive and Chew had his foot on the brake. When the woke up he was disoriented and the vehicle began to roll forward. Chew was then directed to put the vehicle and park and shut off the ignition. Officers detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage, slurred speech and glassy eyes. He failed field sobriety tests and refused a breath test. Chew is due in court date Monday.

Hartland

n BURGLARY: A Bradley Road man reported a Polaris ATV was stolen by an unknown person from his locked detached garage sometime over the past three weeks. It has a value of $1,200.

North Tonawanda

n DWI: Christie A. Vance, 30, 5656 Locust St., Lockport, was arrested early Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated. Police found her blood alcohol content to be 0.10 percent. Vance is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

n IMPERSONATION: Jamel R. Davis, 28, 45 Duane St., Niagara Falls, was arrested Saturday morning and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and criminal impersonation. Davis is being held in lieu of $500 bail.

Niagara Falls

n VANDALISM: Things got ugly between two women fighting over a parking spot early Saturday. Around 2:30 a.m., the women were arguing about a parking spot along Highland Avenue when one 20-year-old sprayed another 22-year-old woman with Mace, according to police reports. About an hour and a half later, police received a report that two women had poured sugar and green peas in the gas tank of the woman who had sprayed the Mace earlier. The damage to the woman’s gas tank was about $600, police said.

n DISTURBANCE: Marquis C. Pryor, 30, no address given, was charged at 2:27 a.m. Saturday with disorderly conduct. Police arrived at the scene along Highland Avenue, where a crowd of about 30 people had congregated. Police ordered the crowd to disperse when Pryor became belligerent with officers and refused to leave. He was arrested and charged for disorderly conduct. Three pepper balls were thrown into the crowd to force the rest of the people to leave the area.

n INTOXICATION: Craig E. Conny, 35, 89th St., was charged at 12:30 a.m. Saturday with criminal mischief and two counts of disorderly conduct after losing his temper. Police arrived to a motel parking lot where a shirtless Conny was allegedly intoxicated and swinging his fists at people. Police witnessed Conny kick the front door of the motel, causing about $250 worth of damage, according to the police report. He was handcuffed and placed in a patrol car where he kicked in the back window, shattering it. Police administered pepper spray and Conny was taken to the hospital for treatment where he allegedly later told police, “I’m sorry guys, I’ll pay for the window.” Ronald A. Haines, 44, 1425 Ferry Ave., Apt. 2, also was charged with disorderly conduct after he refused to leave the scene of the motel parking lot.
