BLOTTER: Police reports published Aug. 26

City of Lockport

• CHARGED: Joseph M. Taylor, 24, 546 Birchwood Dr. Apt. 8, was charged with second-degree assault. Police responded to Main Street on Friday and found a man bleeding from the head who was attended to by rescue workers. The victim reportedly had two lacerations of the left eye, a fracture of the eye orbit and a laceration to the back of his head. An arrest report was filed, and Taylor turned himself in on Monday. The victim requested an order of protection.

• CHARGED: John Q. Knox, 23, was charged with second-degree harassment, and Anthony J. Knox, 21, was charged with third-degree menacing after an incident at 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Both live at 176 North Transit St. Police responded to investigate a report of a fight on Grant Street. The victims reported they were harassed by two males and one pulled out a silver knife from his pocket and waved it around. The two suspects were later identified, and a knife was found.

Cambria

• BURGLARY: A Campbell Boulevard man reported that sometime over the past two weeks, an unknown person entered his home and stole a fire safe from the closet in his upstairs bedroom. The safe contained $5,000 cash. The value of the fire safe is $100.
