City of Lockport
• DRUGS: Shameika J. Wright, 19, 123 Willow St., Apt. 5, was charged Wednesday evening with unlawful possession of marijuana. Wright was allegedly seen smoking marijuana on her porch. When officers knocked on her door, Wright allegedly handed over a half-burned piece of cigar paper filled with marijuana. She was released on an appearance ticket and is due Tuesday in Lockport City Court.
Town of Lockport
• VANDALISM: The owner of Southtowns Storage on Robinson Road reported Wednesday that between 2:17 p.m. and 2:47 p.m. on Aug. 17, someone broke the chain and motor on a security fence at the business. Damage was estimated at $480, the report said.
• THEFT: An employee at Denny’s Restaurant on South Transit Road reported Thursday that two women left the restaurant about 3:55 a.m. without paying for their bill of $23.94.

• BURGLARY: Three farm workers reported Wednesday night that while they were at work, someone entered their home on West Creek Road and stole about $40 in change and a pair of Timberland boots worth $45.
• BURGLARY: A West Creek Road woman reported Wednesday that someone stole $275 in assorted food and meat from her downstairs pantry and freezer. The woman also reported a hair straightener and two hair brushes, together worth about $45, were missing.

• FRAUD: A Dickersonville Road woman told deputies Thursday that she applied for a job online as a flight attendant through an ad on Yahoo. The woman said she spoke to a man who said he would pay for half of her plane ticket to San Diego if she sent him $267 through Western Union. The woman said she sent the money on Aug. 22 and the man told her he had booked the ticket. The woman said she called Delta on Thursday and there was no record of a ticket in her name.
Youngstown
• VANDALISM: A Third Street man reported Thursday morning that overnight, someone put shaving cream all over his 1992 Acura, causing damage to the paint on the trunk, roof and hood. Damage was estimated at $1,200, the report said.
