HARASSMENT: George C. Darrell, 55, 184 South St. Apt. 1 was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment. The police were called to 1 Locks Plaza for of a disturbance on April 10. According to the report, the victim was at the court to pick up his brother when there was an argument in the courtroom. After the suspect was bailed out, there was an altercation in the parking lot. The victim reported that Darrell swung at hit him and hit him in the back of the head as they were walking away. The alleged victim secured an harassment compliant. Darrell claimed there were no punches thrown in an interview with police at 184 South St. A warrant was requested. Darrell was given a notice to appear on May 1.
CHARGED: Jason W. Carr, 19, 4308 Finlaw Ave. Pennsauken, N.J. was charged Tuesday with speeding, failure to yield and failure to signal. According to the report, the police attempted to stop Carr for speeding at 11:30 p.m. on South Transit. Carr turned onto Dorchester Street where he was pulled over. He was uncooperative with police, the report said.
CONTEMPT: Joshua M. McCelland, 30, 350 Delaware St. upper, Tonawanda was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt. The police were called to John Street for a report of a landlord tenant dispute at 8 p.m. There was an dispute over ownership of a refrigerator. McCelland was located at the residence and there was a full stay-away order against him protecting a woman who said she owned the refrigerator.
PETIT LARCENY: An Ontario Street woman told Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies someone took money and prescribed medications on Tuesday. About $80, a half a bottle of lartabs, approximately 20 Trazodine pills and about 60 Soma pills were taken, the report said. Deputies said doors to the home were left unlocked and there was no sign of forced entry. The case will be reviewed by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
