Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Town of Lockport

DWI: Justin A. Cole, 31, of Appleton, was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. New York State Police said Cole was given a court appearance ticket on Lockport Junction Road.

CONTEMPT: Stephan N. Hill, 24, of the Town of Lockport, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. New York State Police said Hill was released on a bail bond.

Newfane

CAUGHT: Steven C. Lindemuth, 27, 2534 Merritt Ave., was charged on a warrant with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage after his moving vehicle was stopped by a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy early Thursday in the 2800 block of Transit Road. The warrant is out of the City of Batavia, the sheriff’s office said. Lindemuth was turned over to Batavia police.

Middleport

MISCHIEF: A Johnson Creek woman reported an unknown person shattered the passenger window on her 2004 Chevy Cavalier. An estimated $200 in damage was reported by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

Ransomville

LARCENY: David A. Miles, 29, 2551 Youngstown-Lockport Road, was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Miles was arraigned in Porter Town Court and was released on his own recognizance. He’s due back in court Jan. 7.
