Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — City of Lockport

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Dillon Smith, 22, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespassing Friday. Smith is due in City Court on Monday.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT: Russell Shull, 44, 218 Saxton St., was charged with criminal contempt Thursday. Shull is due in City Court on Monday. 

POSSESSION: Shirley Hobbs, 53, 142 Grand St., was charged with possession of a controlled substance and disobeying a stop sign Thursday. Hobbs is due in City Court on Monday.

Town of Lockport

DWI: James M. McKernan III, 38, 7105 Slayton Settlement Road, was charged with a felony count of driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and operating a vehicle in violation of an interlock restriction early Friday in the 7000 block of Slayton Settlement Road. McKernan was held at the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $750 bail pending a Dec. 26 appearance in Lockport Town Court.

ASSAULT: Patrick M. Bishop, 27, of Lockport, was charged with second-degree assault and resisting arrest Thursday by New York State Police.
