BURGLARY: Marcus A. Walton, 34, of Lockport, was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, first- and second-degree criminal contempt Friday morning. Walton was held in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to New York State Police.

ASSAULT: Cody S. Pembleton, 29, of Lockport, was charged with second-degree assault Thursday after State Police investigation of an incident reported Jan. 14. Pembleton was released on his own recognizance.

UNLICENSED OPERATION: Arika M. Grosskopf, 32, 20 State St., Middleport, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Saturday morning on Lake Avenue. Grosskopf received a ticket to appear in Town Court on March 4.

SHOPLIFTING: Brianna V. Ferguson, 21, 127 Juniper St., was charged with petit larceny Feb. 6 after an incident at Tops supermarket, South Transit Road. Ferguson received a ticket to appear Thursday in Town Court.

Newfane

INJURY: The sheriff’s office responded to a call from Bucolo Cold Storage, 5796 Wilson Burt Road, regarding an injured employee about 1 p.m. Saturday. The employee fell and suffered a shoulder injury and was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital by Miller Hose emergency volunteers for treatment, according to the sheriff’s incident report.

Cambria

UNLICENSED OPERATION: Dallas J. Porter, 28, 714 20th St., Niagara Falls, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation Friday afternoon on Saunders Settlement Road. Porter received a ticket to appear Feb. 26 in Cambria Town Court.
