BURGLARY: Property owners at a Johnson Creek Road address reported Saturday to Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies that sometime between March 31 and Saturday someone attempted to gain entry into a 30’ x 40’ steel pole barn on the property by kicking in the man door. The door had a deadbolt and no entry was made. There was an estimated $300 to the door frame.
A Lockport-Olcott Road property owner reported Saturday that several tools have come up missing during a remodeling project at her home. Most recently a Dewalt palm sander and a Craftsman Job Max tool were missing from the residence, where no one is currently residing. Two utility knifes have disappeared as well. There were no signs of forced entry. A friend told the victim that when she drove by one recent evening she noticed an upstairs light on. The value of the tools was placed at $99 each.
