Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — No serious injuries to people were reported after a vehicle struck a house in Cambria on Thursday evening.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, about 6:40 p.m. a moving vehicle left the south side of Upper Mountain Road, near Subbera Road, and struck the southeast corner of the house at 4330 Upper Mountain.

The vehicle was occupied by a woman and her 4-year-old child, who suffered a minor injury, the sheriff's office said.

No one was in the house when it was struck. Volunteers from Cambria Fire Company turned out to the scene, and the Niagara County Technical Rescue Team was activated, to evaluate and secure the structural intergrity of the house, the sheriff's office said.
