• MISCHIEF: A homeowner in the 3800 block of Ewings Road reported damage was done to the lawn overnight Sept. 21-22, apparently by a vehicle that traversed about 100 square feet of lawn and left torn-up grass and ruts in its wake. About $500 damage was done and no witnesses to the incident could be found, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

• BURGLARY: A homeowner in the 2300 block of Fuller Road reported that her unlocked home was entered while she was away briefly Sept. 19 and an Afunta Android tablet and iPod Touch were taken. The homeowner said she was told that an unidentified man had been seen leaving the house. The missing items are valued at $270 together, according to the sheriff's office.

Cambria

• BURGLARY: Hand tools worth $100 and copper wiring worth $2,500 were reported taken from a building in the 2900 block of Carney Road on Sept. 21. A representative of the building owner said the building had last been checked one week earlier and all was fine. Niagara County Sheriff's deputies checked the building and found an open window, with its screen on the ground in front of it, as well as a pair of bolt cutters on the floor inside the building, away from where the tool normally would be stored. Deputies also documented a message, written on a wall in blue painters tape, that read, "you are going to die."
