ENDANGERMENT: Paulette B. Cochrane, 59, 8721 Slayton Settlement, was charged with reckless endangerment of property and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said on Wednesday, a State Street man said he was preparing to leave his friend’s, where he had been staying. Cochrane reportedly became angered and got into the man’s truck and revved the engine continually. Deputies tried to talk with Cochrane who did not respond several times and would not get out of the truck. She was arrested and taken to Niagara County Jail and was released on $500 bail.
HARASSMENT: Austin M. Hillman, 18, 2057 Lonnon Road, Barker, was charged over the weekend with second-degree harassment and trespassing. A Carmen Road man told the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office that Hillman arrived at his house irate over an incident involving Hillman’s sister. Hillman was asked several times to leave and would not, the man said. Hillman reportedly yelled profanities and kick garbage cans in the victim’s yard. Hillman was given an appearance ticket for Oct. 28 in Somerset Town Court and the victims were issued an order of protection.
