Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Town of Lockport

BURGLARY: A Dysinger Road man told the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office an unknown person took $6,600 in cash and $1,400 in checks and money orders from his apartment. Deputies said the victim found what could have been a point of entry for the burglar. Nothing else was reported stolen. The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

DWI: Monica Hens, 48, 5633 Keck Road, was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. The Sheriff’s Office said Hens reportedly was seen driving recklessly and drove into a ditch. A deputy determined Hens was drunk and she reportedly blew a .24 percent in a breath test. She is due this week in Lockport Town Court.

Newfane

DWI: Craig S. Roath, 28, 309 Locust St., was charged with driving while intoxicated. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Roath was involved in a car accident on Coomer Road. A deputy determined Roath was drunk and was issued an appearance ticket.

Hartland

LARCENY: Austin P. Hager, 19, Dysinger Road, Lockport, was charged Friday with petit larceny and second-degree possession of a forged instrument. New York State Police said Hager was arrested on Dysinger Road and released on bail.

Wilson

MARIJUANA: Bryce I. Gombert, Ransomville, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. New York State Police said Gombert was given an appearance ticket on Randall Road.
