DWI: Pamela S. DeMarco, 43, 12 Sunnyside St. was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. Lockport Police said DeMarco was pulled over for a traffic infraction. While speaking with police, DeMarco reportedly had a smell of alcohol on her and her speech was slurred. She failed field sobriety tests, police said.

MISCHIEF: A South Transit Road man reported to Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday that someone threw a rock at a business sign in the Big Lots plaza, near the Snyder Road entrance. Damage was estimated at $350.

POSSESSION: Felicia E. Heary, 37, 6290 Shimer Drive was charged Wednesday with possession of a hypodermic instrument and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Deputies reported that they pulled Heary over for not stopping at a stop sign on Locust and Shimer. Heary did not have her license or the vehicle’s registration, the arrest report said. A hypodermic syringe was found in Heary’s purse, deputies said. Heary was given tickets and was arrested on $250 bail. She is due Tuesday in Lockport Town Court.
