MARIJUANA: Timothy J. Mallory, 21, 632 4th St., Niagara Falls was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle with obstructed vision and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration Tuesday. Mallory was observed pulling into the lot at the Niagara County Jail with the driver's view obstructed, The registration was suspended and insurance was not in effect. According to the report, the sheriffs patrol detected the odor of burnt marijuana and observed a plastic baggie containing marijuana. Mallory was turned over to the Niagara County Jail on $250.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: The sheriff's patrol was dispatched to 6559 Lincoln Ave, for a report of a larceny Monday morning. According to the report sometime overnight an unknown person cut off and stole the top of a coin operated dryer that was located in the building. There there was not much, if any money inside the coin collector, but damage was estimated at $850.
