POSSESSION: Ryan W. Finch, 30, 3160 Roland Drive, Newfane, was charged Thursday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, driving without an inspection and an equipment violation. According to the arrest report, at 12:30 a.m. police saw a vehicle driving on Niagara Street with a headlight out. Finch appeared to be nervous, officer said, while police saw orange caps and two syringes in the passenger seat. Finch was found with a spoon with burnt residue. Police found needles and other contraband in the vehicle.

Newfane

LARCENY: A West Main Street woman reported an unknown person had taken jewelry totaling $5,701. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said the jewelry included diamond earrings, a starfish necklace with pink diamonds on it, an 18-karat gold seahorse necklace, a ring, earrings and other items. A report was filed and sent to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Pendleton

LARCENY: The head groundskeeper at Acacia Park Cemetery told the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office that over the past weekend, an unknown person five 12-inch sections of copper downspouts from outside the administration building. They were reported to be worth $250.

Wilson

HARASSMENT: Timothy M. Terborg, 31, was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment. New York State Police said Terborg was given an appearance ticket for an incident that happened last month.
