LARCENY: Police responded to a report of four males going through vehicles at Erie and Spalding streets Sunday morning. According to police reports, the males admitted to breaking into vehicles and stealing items. Police recovered two necklaces, two lighters, a cell phone charger, and change as stolen property. Two defendants, Jared Brown, 17, 218 South St. apt Upper and Michael Hathaway, 16, 166 Spalding St. were brought to Lockport Police Department and charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property. The other two males are juveniles and were released to their parents after being brought to LPD. Police identified the owner of the phone charger as one victim. The charger is estimated at $40. The rest of the recovered property is being held in a locker at LPD.

BURGLARY: An unknown person took a Sony Playstation 3, a Playstation controller and $12 in change from a Lincoln Place woman's home last week, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office reported. The apartment door was locked but could be easily opened without a key, the incident report said, and the victim's bedroom window was also open. A report was filed.

LARCENY: A Dysinger Road man told the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Sunday an unknown person took an envelope with $130 in it. There was no sign of forced entry and a report was filed.


DWI: Ryan C. Wentz, 23, of Tonawanda, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. New York Police said Wentz was given an appearance ticket on Bear Ridge Road.
