City of Lockport
DWI: Ernest Frasier, Jr., 57, 77 Main St., apt. 305, was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated. Lockport Police said Frasier was stopped for passing a red light, he reportedly turned into the parking lot of a 7-Eleven and hit a concrete barrier. Officers reported Frasier had red, glassy eyes, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol on him. He reportedly failed several field sobriety tests. Frasier is due Monday in city court.
RESISTING ARREST: William Robinson, 34, 38 Outwater Drive, was charged Wednesday with resisting arrest and trespassing. The property’s caretaker told Lockport Police a group of men were trespassing. Robinson reportedly started to walk away and was told several times by police to return. Robinson ran west on South Street and was last seen heading south towards Elm Court. Officers found Robinson in a trailer on Washburn Street. He is due Monday in city court.
TRESPASS: Scott C. Kraft, 28, 207 South Huxley Drive, Cheektowaga, was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal trespassing. Lockport Police were called to the corner of Washburn and Spalding Streets for a possible burglary in progress. Police surrounded the house and ordered him out, which he complied. Kraft is due Monday in city court.
HARASSMENT: Michael W. Solomon, 16, 173 Pine St., apt. right side, was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. A Pine Street man told police Solomon had punched him in the face and hit him in the back of the head.
HARASSMENT: Christopher J. Nixon, 20, 437 Pine St., apt. 1, was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. Lockport Police said a Pine Street woman reported Nixon came up behind her and hit her in the back of the head. Nixon turned himself in.

BURGLARY: An Emily Lane man told Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday someone entered his attached garage and took a bicycle belonging to him. The garage’s door was open a portion of the time and it is believed that the unknown person entered during this time and took the bicycle. The bicycle was black in color and was manufactured by Cannondale and was worth $900. The victim was able to provide the bicycle’s identification number. Further investigation would be done by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
ASSAULT: Stanley S. Roberts, 21, 467 Springville Ave., Amherst, was charged with third-degree assault Wednesday. Deputies said a Main Street man was having a conversation in his front yard with another person, when he turned to go back into his residence. At that moment, Roberts reportedly jumped out of a black truck and punched him in the mouth. The victim reported he fell to the ground and was repeatedly kicked in the face by Roberts. Deputies said the victim had visible injuries to his face including bruising and bleeding. Lewiston Police found Roberts, who admitted to having been involved in the altercation but added that the fight was mutual. He was remanded to the Niagara County Jail on $250 bail and is due to appear in the Town of Wilson Court Tuesday.
