Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — DRUGS/UNLICENSED: Richard J. Tomaino, 25, 62 Lewis St. was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a traffic stop. According to the arrest report, Tomaino told police that he had two small baggies of marijuana in the vehicle and that he had a suspended non-driver ID. He is scheduled to appear March 25 in City Court.

DRUGS/UNLICENSED: Dontre R. Woods, 23, 205 Lock St. was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a traffic stop. According to the arrest report, a check showed that Woods’ license was suspended and a clear plastic bag containing a green, leafy substance was found in the center console. Woods is scheduled to appear Monday in City Court.

DWI: Eric M. Fura, 23, 85 Olcott St., Lockport was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, drinking while in a motor vehicle on the highway and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 of one percent following a traffic stop. According to the arrest report, Fura told Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies that he attempted to evade them because he had an open beer container. He failed multiple filed sobriety tests and was found to have a 0.13 BAC. Fura, who was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail, is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Town of Lockport Court.

DWI/DRUGS: Leah K. Stutz, 17, 99 Trowbridge St., Lockport was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 of one percent and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop. Stutz reportedly told the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office that she had smoked marijuana and had multiple drinks after she failed multiple field sobriety tests. She was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail, and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Town of Lockport Court.
