Pair charged after disturbance

LOCKPORT — Two Lockport men were charged after a disturbance on South Street at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday.

Jason C. Cain, 28, was charged with third-degree menacing and forth-degree criminal mischief. Stacy S. Smith, 24, 326 South St. was charged with disorderly conduct.

According to the report, Cain threw a beer can at the bedroom door of the victim and knocked the door down. Cain entered the room and allegedly threatened to beat the victim.

Smith was reportedly standing on the front porch and yelling obscene language. He was warned to stop, but did not comply.

Both Cain and Smith appeared to be intoxicated.
