BLOTTER: Police reports published Jan. 31

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — DWI: Corey C. Bedford, 24, 7950 Slayton Settlement Road, Gasport was charged with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely Sunday. According to the report, the sheriff’s patrol observed a vehicle on Lincoln Ave Extension drive off of the roadway at 3:13 a.m. The vehicle almost struck a speed limit sign and four trees located in the yard. Bedford had glassy eyes, slurred speech and the odor of an alcoholic beverage. He failed field sobriety tests. Bedford’s blood alcohol content was .08 percent. 

BURGLARY: A Dysinger Road resident reported that her apartment was entered and a Sony TV was taken. The TV, valued a $400, was in an unopened box in the living room.

Gasport

BURGLARY: The owner of the Sunrise Cafe on Rochester Road reported the recovery of a cash register that was stolen Sunday. A east side window of the restaurant was smashed in with a rock and the cash register was ripped from the counter. The cash register was never opened and still contained about $100 in cash. The cash register was turned it over to the property evidence locker to be tested for fingerprint evidence. There was $300 damage to the window.
