GRAND LARCENY: An East Avenue resident reported tires and chrome rims valued at $4,568 were taken from her 2005 Pontiac Montana while it was parked sometime between 2:30 and 7:30 a.m. Thursday. A metal pipe found at the scene was taken as evidence, police reported. The jack used to prop up vehicle as left under the vehicle.
MENACING: Steven C. Huston, 45, 150 Gooding St. was charged with third-degree menacing Wednesday. The police were called to a disturbance at 9:30 p.m. on Washburn Street. According to the report, the victim attempted to break up a fight between Huston and another person. Huston came at her in an aggressive man and threatened her.
AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT: Mark D. Lockhart, 44, 185 Washburn St. Apt. 8 was charged with aggravated harassment Wednesday. According to the arrest report, the victim reported alleged harassment calls that occurred on Washburn Street back on Feb. 8. and filed an harassment report. He was ordered to cease communication. Lockhart continued to call the victim and sent multiple text messages.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT: Dwayne G. West, 33, 6035 South Transit St., Apt. 195 was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal Wednesday. The police saw a traffic infraction on Genesee Street at 5:35 p.m. and stopped the vehicle on Evans Street. According to the report, West had a suspended driver’s license. Officers found a scale, commonly used to weigh narcotics and folding knife in the car, the arrest report said.
STALKING: Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has requested a warrant for the arrest of a Town of Wilson man for stalking. According to the report, the man has sent text messages to a victim saying he is watching and following her. The suspect currently has a warrant for his arrest out of the Town of Wilson for a previous incident regarding the victim and her neighbor.
